Cost Accountant – Hendersonville, NC

Position Overview:

The Cost Accountant is responsible for applying effective analysis principles to accurately reflect product costs in the development of Standard Costs. The Cost Accountant reports to the Engineering and Cost Manager.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.
  • Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
  • Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
  • Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts.
  • Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues. Reconcile inventories.
  • Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances.
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
  • Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
  • Update standard costs in the bill of materials.
  • Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
  • Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Make estimates of new and proposed product costs.
  • Develop and manage Cost / Price analysis spec. sheets.
  • Prepare customer and product pricing analysis.
  • Conduct research and perform analytical studies in regard to cost analysis and profitability.
  • Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment with a Standard Cost System
  • Manufacturing accounting experience.
  • Standard Cost experience.
  • ERP/MRP experience is necessary.
  • CPA/CMA certification is a plus.

 Maintenance Supervisor – Spindale, NC

Position Overview:

Maintenance Supervisor with Industrial Electrician background and Electronics repair experience will manage/supervise the Maintenance Team.  The position will install electrical components, equipment and maintain facility equipment and provide supervision and scheduling of the Maintenance Team.

Essential Job Functions:

Maintenance Supervisor is hands on working supervisor that is experienced as an industrial electrician and in electronics. Position will install maintain and repair electrical systems and electronics in an industrial facility environment. They will make sure that electrical systems and electronics are safe and running efficiently. May have to repair large electrical equipment, like industrial fans, large motors, or control systems. This position is part of the construction, install and testing for new equipment and systems, repairs or maintains older, pre-existing systems.

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years as Electrician with Electronics repair experience
  • 1 year Supervisory experience

Key Competencies:

Job duties require reading blueprints and following wiring diagrams of circuits and wiring, and use many different hand and diagnostic tools in testing and fixing equipment.

Logistics Manager – Hendersonville, NC

MWW is looking for a talented and qualified Logistics Manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including selecting carriers, researching shipping methods, going over invoices. The candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail in order to oversee daily operations and logistics employees. In addition to having excellent organizational skills, you should also possess in-depth knowledge of logistics.

Maintenance Electrician – Spindale, NC

Position Overview:

Installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment

Essential Job Functions:

Install Industrial Electrical & Electronic equipment, set-up and install electrical panels, sub-panels, calculate load requirements for wiring and Breakers panels and related equipment, Diagnose A/C and D/C drives and related equipment, design and install control circuits and devices to upgrade machinery, basic PLC diagnostics, and programing. Install and upkeep of networking cabling. Design and install conduit systems for related wiring.

Voltage range from 110 to 600 VAC 3 phase, control DC voltages.

Education and Experience:

  • 3 years minimum with three phase electrical wiring
  • Basic PLC operation and programming
  • Experience calculating electrical system load related to machinery installation
  • Experience with NEC code book and application
  • Experience reading Schematics and blueprints related to electrical and electronic application
  • 1 year diagnostics and troubleshooting for, motor, PLC, electrical circuitry,
  • Natural Gas burner controls and burners experience a plus
